Peter E. Panarites is a member of the Mutual Fund & Investment Advisers Industry Group and the Corporate & Transactional practice team at Jorden Burt. He focuses on federal securities law matters relating to the public offering of securities, regulatory accommodation and resolution of issues associated with the development of new forms of securities and distribution methods, broker-dealer activities, enforcement representation, and other federal securities law matters.

Mr. Panarites' experience extends to the public and private securities offerings and SEC regulatory compliance, as well as insurance company variable annuity products under the federal securities laws, and other issues involving product development, sales, and marketing.

Mr. Panarites has served as an attorney-advisor, financial analyst, and branch chief in the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance.

Mr. Panarites has lectured on federal securities laws at Cornell University. He has also participated as a faculty member at securities law programs.
