Ms. Cedillo has litigated in federal and state courts throughout the U.S. on matters including ERISA, civil RICO, commercial defamation, fraud, director and officer liability, unfair trade practices, intellectual property and information technology.
Ms. Cedillo's securities practice includes representing corporations and broker/dealers in matters involving securities fraud under the Securities Act of 1933 and the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. She has represented corporations and broker/dealers in defending SEC enforcement actions, including defending claims of insider trading and market manipulation. Her experience includes securities fraud matters brought in federal court as well as securities arbitration matters involving violations of both state and federal securities laws before the New York Stock Exchange and the National Association of Securities Dealers (collectively now FINRA), and the American Arbitration Association (AAA). She has represented investment banking firms in connection with litigation arising out of securities offerings. |
